About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chartered Civil Engineer to work on a diverse portfolio of major water and wastewater projects across the UK. You’ll join a forward-thinking Water Services team delivering nationally significant infrastructure – from large-scale treatment plants to network upgrades and strategic water resource schemes.

Your role will span feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction support – offering real technical challenge and variety in a collaborative contract environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects.
• Develop calculations, reports, and design documents to a high technical standard.
• Engage directly with clients to define needs and shape practical solutions.
• Prepare technical inputs to business cases and funding applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support junior team members.
• Ensure all designs adhere to safety, buildability, sustainability, and environmental best practices.

What Our Client is Looking For:

• Chartered Civil Engineer (ICE or equivalent).
• Strong technical expertise in civil engineering, preferably in the water sector.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proactive, delivery-focused mindset with attention to detail.
