Senior Facade Engineer

An exciting opportunity with an international engineering consultancy that has been established for nearly 80 years, who are an award winning business and one the most highly regarded in the industry require a Senior Façade Designer to join them.

As the Senior Façade Designer you will join an expanding and highly specialised team, attending design meetings, prepare scheme calculations and sketches. Projects will be varied from complex high value large commercial and mixed development to minor schemes.

The Senior Façade Designer you will be involved the management and delivery of research on potential cladding materials, liaising with the design teams and clients. You will be contributing to and supporting senior staff with developing jobs technically from initial client ideas.

Being the Senior Façade Designer you will be will be client facing and candidates should be experienced in providing high level technical advice on a broad range of design issues and excellent communication skills both oral and written.

You will need recent UK experience in Façade Design, ideally gained across commercial, residential and mixed use developments and demonstrate an excellent understanding of weather performance and other technical issues.
