Signalling Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Signalling Team Leader based in Westbury, Wiltshire. Our client are a key part of the UK rail infrastructure. This role involves days, nights and weekend working additional monetary uplifts are available.

Role:

The successful candidate will direct a team involved in many aspects of upkeep regarding the rail network. This includes inspection and faulting, maintenance and renewal.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Establish appropriate safety arrangements, ensuring workers and contractors follow safe systems of work
• Proactively controlling and checking the quality of work of the team
• Overseeing that assets are fully compliant and all equipment and materials are fit to purpose
• Direct, organise and motivate a high performing team

Essential Requirements:

• Significant working experience of organising and controlling the safe and efficient delivery of work
• Knowledge of discipline specific maintenance, inspection, faulting and renewal techniques
• Knowledge of relevant standards and procedures

Desirable:

• Hold or be working towards an NVQ level 2 or 3 in a relevant subject
• Full UK driving license (category B)
