With the support of senior colleagues and mentors, all of our clients’ graduates will gain exposure to practical on-the-job experience that will encourage them to enhance their personal and professional growth.
We are currently seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our clients Capital projects team in Muir of Ord. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
Your role will involve working within the design and management team. Assisting with delivering various elements of projects ensuring that all works carried out are to a high quality and in line with health and safety regulations. Day to day duties include preparing site documentation including method statements & risk assessments, environmental, quality procedures, supporting the planning and implementation of projects, including appropriate site surveys, client liaison, project programme milestones, project dependencies and provide technical support as required.
The ideal candidate would have:
* Engineering degree/HND/HNC (other degrees or experience will be considered).
* Computer literate – proficiency with Microsoft Office packages with strong skills in Excel and Power BI.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* An understanding of Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental disciplines.
* Most importantly must be willing/adaptable to working within an energetic reactive team environment, ability to think outside of the box and work within a close team environment.
* You will be enrolled on our clients Graduate Training programme, which has been carefully designed to provide structured learning and development opportunities across the group. After completing the 24-month programme you will be ideally placed to progress to professional registration.
* Understanding of the water industry, ideally some experience of working in the sector. Most certainly experience of a process sector where skill sets are transferrable.
