Foreman

Working as part of the site delivery team, you will work closely with the Site Agent, site crews and key stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with airport operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the site crews and subcontractors carrying out construction engineering works.
• Ensure engineering activities are completed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and programme requirements.
• Plan, organised and oversee all site construction activities.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Review and manage engineering documentation, technical drawings, and construction records.
• Contribute to project reporting and progress monitoring throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Ensure HSE Compliance is adhered to at every step of the works, in line with site rules and airport safety procedures
• Drive productivity and monitor progress throughout

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A trade background with significant experience of foreman or chargehand duties
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, steelwork, and civil engineering construction methods.
• Solid experience in supervising direct labour and subcontractors .
• CSCS Supervisor / Safety Supervisor or equivalent
• Experience working within highly regulated environments, ideally airports, aviation, rail, defence, or other operational infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and quality management processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to build effective working relationships with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
