Role Overview

A major infrastructure delivery partner is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to support a flagship highways project in the East of England, based out of Norwich.

Key Responsibilities

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or Planner within the construction or infrastructure sector on large-scale highways projects.

  • Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, engineering principles, and planning best practices.

  • Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 or equivalent tools.

  • A good understanding of NEC contracts and programme requirements under typical UK infrastructure frameworks.

  • The ability to analyse complex project data and communicate findings clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A collaborative mindset, able to work closely with multiple stakeholders across delivery and commercial teams.
