Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced individual of high calibre to lead projects for the flood risk and drainage teams across a range of activities such as river, coastal and flood defence design, hydraulic modelling and hydrology assessment, fluvial geomorphology assessment, water framework direct assessments and the development of business cases. They work across a diverse range of clients delivering challenging infrastructure projects for the private and public sector.

Our client is looking for an Engineer to join with substantial experience within the railway industry, particularly structural inspection and maintenance. The role will be working mainly from home, with some visits to Birmingham required.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be working in a creative and challenging environment, delivering a wide range of projects across Northumbrian Water, Yorkshire Water and United Utilities frameworks.

Responsible for the delivery of efficient and sustainable solutions, you will support in the delivery of work with multi-disciplinary project teams from project inception through to completion of construction.

Your typical duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and/or supervision of the development of drawings for plant general arrangements, power single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, instrumentation loop diagrams, P&IDs, control system architecture drawings, and cable, instrument, and I/O schedules.

Contracts Manager – Central Southern region

I am looking for a civil engineer with a good civils background, to deliver civil engineering technical excellence for rail project associated with projects in the north wesr

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a civils aspect. This role would suit an existing civil engineer within the rail civil environment.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and adapt the project technical instructions for Civil Engineering to enable the project methodology and installation activities to be undertaken in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Ensure that the risk assessment and mitigation plan is adhered to so technical risks are managed effectively.
  • Undertake design reviews to ensure that Design is delivered to programme and the output is compliant with defined scope and applicable standards.
  • Ensure integration of design, installation and commissioning activities and that the end product meets client specification.
