Our client is seeking an ambitious and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional construction environment, working on a variety of exciting projects.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Hold relevant Health & Safety certifications.
• Have the legal right to work in Ireland (EU Citizen, Irish Citizen, Stamp 4, or equivalent unrestricted work authorisation).
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Possess strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Measurement and quantification of construction works.
• Assisting with monthly cost reporting and Final Accounts.
• Monitoring project budgets, costs, and variations.
• Supporting subcontractor management and commercial activities.
• Conducting research, analysing project data, and preparing reports.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
• Ensuring compliance with quality procedures and Health & Safety standards.
• Attending project meetings and contributing to project delivery.

Desirable

• Previous placement or internship experience within construction or engineering.
• Knowledge of construction or engineering software.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
