About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Clean Water Modeller to support the development and application of clean water distribution models using InfoWorks WS Pro.

This is a senior-level position with responsibility for strategic planning, operational optimisation, leakage reduction and regulatory compliance across potable water networks. You will play a key role in improving network performance, resilience and long-term investment planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, maintenance and calibration of clean water hydraulic models using InfoWorks WS Pro
Validate models against telemetry, logger and flow/pressure test data
Conduct scenario modelling to assess network performance under normal and stress conditions
Support operational teams with real-time and predictive modelling for pressure management and resilience
Provide modelling input for investment planning, including mains reinforcement, DMA creation and growth impact assessments
Simulate water quality parameters such as water age, chlorine decay and booster performance
Mentor junior modellers and contribute to modelling standards, QA/QC processes and workflow automation (Python, SQL)
Prepare and present reports and visualisations for internal and external stakeholders
What Our Client is Looking For:
Essential:

Strong experience in clean water hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks WS Pro
Solid understanding of water and wastewater engineering within the UK water industry
Degree (MEng/BEng/BSc) or HNC in Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline
Experience working with telemetry and network performance data
Ability to lead modelling projects and support more junior team members
