About the Role:

I am looking for a project engineer with a good p-way background, to deliver track engineering technical excellence for an engineering framework on NW+C.

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a track aspect. This role would suit an existing p-way engineer

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the track engineering on allocated company contracts are technically compliant with the relevant Group, client & company standards.
  • Act as the p-way engineering technical contact and liaison with clients and sub-contractors in order to resolve assurance issues.
  • Ensure integration of design, installation and testing and that the end product meets the client specification and has technical integrity.
  • Carry out project risk assessments. Assist the Tendering department in the preparation of Tenders.
  • Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.

Essential requirements:

  • Be a chartered civil engineer (MICE) or working towards it.
  • Have five years relevant experience..
  • Proven experience of managing and controlling the planning, design reviews to delivery of permanent way works

Desirable:

  • Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as rail Engineering.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong understanding of UK wiring regulations, ENA standards, and design tools such as AutoCAD, ElectricalOM, or similar.

About the Role:

This role will involve the design and upgrading of wastewater treatment works, including:

  • Refurbishment and maintenance projects
  • Design of new treatment plants
  • Upgrades driven by population growth and new regulations (e.g. IED requirements, Final Enforcement Orders)
